We are moving. Sometime in early 2017 we plan to move to a new building near 56th Ave. and Pecos Street just Northwest of downtown Denver. It will be our third move since we first opened a wash plant in Denver in 1982.

This move was not our idea. Two years ago the City of Denver announced a plan to re-develop the National Western Stockyards Complex, located just south of our location on Race Ct. The plan, called the Northwest Denver Cornerstone Collaborative, will re-build most of the buildings in the stockyards and add new structures, roadways and bridges to create an entirely new neighborhood. Our property at 5115 Race Ct. will become a parking lot for an equestrian center and equine sports medicine facility.

Given the overheated state of the Denver industrial real estate market it took us nearly two years to find a replacement building. Our new location is on 56th Avenue about mid way between Pecos and Federal Streets and was the former home of Mile High Comics for the last twenty plus years. Currently the building is 18,000 square feet on an acre and a half of ground. When our renovations are complete it will a 24,000 square foot state of the art rug washing and restoration facility. Construction is scheduled to begin this fall. With luck, and the help of a talented group of design and construction contractors, we hope to be ready to move in by early Spring 2017. We will post more photos as the work progresses.
